We got past brainstorming and actually started building, before he left. I have some rudimentary PHP databases started, but even if I had the time it'd be difficult without Dunari.

Hidden in pockets of highly-concentrated concept in the pools of madness that comprise three of my notebooks lies more than enough brainstorming to produce a viable successor -- yes, at this point I consider the current format outdated -- "obsolete", if you will -- but the keyword in that statement is "produce". It is currently the production (and accompanied condensation of ideas) that is tripping me up.
If anyone actually reads this between now and the end of time, the last problem I remember having was finding a simple topographical map of the Earth in order to form the basis of planet generation. You'd be surprised how hard it is to find information about the PLANET WE LIVE ON.

In any case, this should probably be at least linked to the front page, so maybe I'll update that today.

For some reason it reminds me of Beck.

In the span of those last five minutes I looked it up on Wikipedia. It appears I won't be watching Death Note any time soon, and if so I'll probably have to fork over money for the DVD.

I recently managed to find a formula for determining the proportionality of distance traveled along the surface of a circle (or sphere, for that matter) and the distance then traveled in respect to the diameter of it. Which means I have a formula for converting a flat map into a three-dimensional globe and vice versa.
Mikhile doesn't think OpenGL can be properly embedded into a PHP page and that I might be forced to have the map as a pop-up.
BUT I THINK OTHERWISE.

Oh, uh, the other day I make a small C++ program that reads in a .BMP value and outputs a text file of the value of each individual pixel in order. If you scroll up and down you can even see the original picture in the hexadecimal regions.

But yesterday I left my notebook in the Physics lab so that could set me back quite a bit and I might just have to make a silly sample planet. I keep forgetting that all I want to do is get something out there.

Actually that looks fairly familiar.

Also it was a false alarm, my Physics teacher picked it up and somehow realized it was mine. I'm hoping he didn't have to read too much of it because it's filled with crazy and the very first page of it contains a Physics adaptation of the German version of the Naruto theme song with his last name replacing the constant "Naruto!"s.

They're lucky that theme song managed to be bad to a comical degree, because it's dangerously close to merely being terrible.
